Demand Generation Research Administrator

Our Database Research Administrators are responsible for creating, maintaining and updating contact information within our CRM, Salesforce. Using online research and persuasive telephonic conversations they are expected to be able to verify and add critical data that is of high value to the organisation. The job would suit a recent graduate that has a high attention to detail and understands that 90% of the job requires being on the phone with prospective clients to verify their contact information before adding the details accurately to the CRM.

This is NOT a sales or telesales role.

 

Key deliverables

  1. Maintain and grow the organisations database through telephonic prospecting
  2. Adapt conversations to better suit needs and interests to reach targets with the ability to persuade prospects to provide required information
  3. Accurately recording all information in CRM (Salesforce.com)
  4. Deep and extensive research of prospecting information such as individual names and companies to call from various sources; Google, Linkedin and supplied lists
  5. Achieved call and database targets

Skills, competencies & abilities

  1. Confident, clear telephonic voice
  2. Excellent verbal communication skills – English
  3. Ability to speak an additional language such as French, Portuguese or German would be considered an advantage
  4. Be sharp and think ahead
  5. Learn from mistakes and self-correct

  7. Patience and the ability to give full attention to what other people are saying and take time to understand and record what they are saying

Education & qualifications

  • Matric Certificate
  • Studying towards a diploma or degree

Details of experience

  1. Computer literate
  2. Experience with a CRM, particularly Salesforce, would be considered an asset
